We know how important it is to have all the facts before choosing educational resources. This is why we have created a special trial server so that anybody interested in NorthStarUK can log on and find out exactly how Moodle works. Just go to www.northstaruk.org/trial. If it is your first visit you will need to create your own account. Choose a username and password for yourself and then provide us with some personal information. It is important that you provide a real email address since we will automatically send you a confirmatory email once you have registered. You should get this email almost immediately. This email provides a link that will take you straight into our online learning environment. For subsequent visits you will only need to use your username and password. Our trial server has a number of courses with a few weeks lessons as well as Scope and Sequence documents and sample lessons for virtually all of our courses.

The Info Centre area provides current textbook requirements along with term dates for the academic year and enrolment forms. In addition, for those parents who are unsure of the year in which to enter their child, there are assessment tests in maths, English and Spanish, which can be marked for a fee.

The Info Centre also contains advice about how to go about entering your child for GCSEs along with links to AQA, OCR and EDEXCEL examination board web sites.
