If you have a need for curricular and tutorial support for pupils aged 11-14 or for those studying GCSE and IGCSE, then NorthStarUK can meet that need. NorthStarUK can provide curriculum and tutorial support for just one subject or for our whole secondary curriculum. This makes it possible for successful Christian primary schools and small missions schools to move easily into the area of secondary education. The benefits for Christian schools include:

In each school we ask that a member of staff is appointed as NSUK liaison teacher.  The role of the liaison teacher is critical and we are able to provide detailed guidance on what this role should involve. The liaison teacher and other senior staff at the school will be able to email all NSUK staff at any time. We aim to reply to your emails within 72 hours (during NSUK term time and excluding weekends). NorthStarUK can provide detailed information about student progress and official reports to fit in with your schools’ reporting schedule. 

Moodle provides students with a central, easy to access learning environment, enabling tutors to place lessons in online courses ready for the student to download at their convenience.  Once uploaded, lessons remain on Moodle for the whole of the academic year, making it possible for the student to download lessons as many times as necessary, when accessing material from multiple computers.

No software needs to be installed on school computers in order to access our learning environment and all web browsers are supported, although we really do quite like Firefox!
